Thanks giving...and I don't mean turkey.

M'kay...

Just got back from my first dental work in 5yrs (had a few bad experiences in between that ended in NO dental work being done).

That said....

God's good :)

I've been full of apprehension, fear, anxiety, dread-you name it.

And this morning while I was praying at a stop light for the Lord to numb the nerves, and a few other details...I was filled with more fear...and...

He stopped me.

He said, "No....give me, THANKSGIVING."

Wow.

Okay.....'Thank you Lord, for this dental work. Thank you for the knowledge you've bestowed upon man to help us in our mortal bodies. Thank you for the funds in which to pay for this visit. Thank you for the teeth...I have left :) Thank you for the LUXURY of nitrous oxide. Thank you, Father for never leaving me or forsaking me.'

Instant....peace.

Got home, and had a sweet e-mail from a friend encouraging me to GIVE THANKS in this dental visit.
