In regards to 'Oswald Chambers' last devotional about 'not interferring,' I felt prompted to bring some clarification between WHEN to interfere, and when NOT to interfere.
The point being, that Oswald Chambers is talking about treading lightly and being Spirit led when stepping in and interfering in another persons 'trials and/or griefs,' and is NOT referring to those believers struggling in sin.
That is to say, making sure we don't go and try to 'fix' something for somebody (whether saved or not) who the Lord is allowing this 'trial and or grief' to go through, for His own good works in them.
As for another believer IN sin (not unbelievers), we ARE to step in and hold them accountable for sin in their lives and to HELP in drawing them out of that....NOT judging them in it (the plank in our own eye, ex.), but BY our love FOR the Body of Christ and all it's parts to be working Holy and well, we ARE called to step in and 'interfere,' in this matter, and to not turn a blind eye.
And this at times...happens on the world wide web...
I'd just make sure we're not looking to meddle (that is-wasting time 'with other people's slivers, when we have a plank in our own eye'). But if we happen to come across some Christian relationships while online, and you feel prompted to bring correction/advice, I'd first check in with the Spirit of the Lord to see if a 'professor of Christ' online is truly EVEN that, before bringing correction.
As, "Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’" Mathew 7:22-23
I believe many believer's are having their time, energy, and focus stolen by being so caught up in the 'things of the world' online (myself included at one time), and NOT for the glory of the Lord like they might believe it to be.
Let our LOVE for each other, both in NOT interfering in God's works in each other AND in stepping in when a time for correction comes, BE a worshipful act to our Father, and bring Him MUCH Glory! :D
